The Pokémon Company International has teamed up with prop replica creator The Wand Company to release a set of miniaturized Poké Ball collectibles. These Mini Poké Ball Replicas bring the iconic catching devices from the Pokémon world to fans’ shelves in an intricate display-quality format.
Five Mini Versions With Interactive Features
The Mini Poké Ball Replicas will launch throughout 2024 in five variants: Poké Ball, Great Ball, Ultra Ball, Cherish Ball, and Premier Ball. Despite the smaller size, each replica keeps the premium metal construction and electronic features of the full-size models. Sensors activate proximity and touch lighting effects. An included stand also lights up when the ball is placed on top.
Every mini Poké Ball includes a collectible silver token depicting a different Pokémon silhouette. So fans can catch ’em all again by gathering the complete set.
Continuing the Full-Size Poké Replicas
In tandem with the new mini releases, The Pokémon Company will continue expanding the full-size replica lineup. October 2024 brings the launch of a intricate Beast Ball replica. Additional standard and mini Poké Balls are also slated for 2025.
The intricate full-size replicas have become coveted collector’s items for Pokémon fans. Each painstakingly recreates textures, finishes, and electronic behaviors seen in the video games and anime.
Bringing Pokémon to Life Off-Screen
Through these prop replicas, The Pokémon Company and The Wand Company aim to make the Pokémon world more real. The Mini Poké Ball Replicas in particular capture the imagination with their blend of real-world tactile quality and interactive electronic features.
Fans can start their collections when the first wave of Mini Poké Ball Replicas rolls out at Pokémon Center stores, participating retailers, and online in February 2024. Just in time to catch ’em all for Pokémon’s 30th anniversary celebrations.
