Bandai Namco Europe has just released an exciting new game for Naruto fans titled NARUTO X BORUTO ULTIMATE NINJA STORM CONNECTIONS. This latest addition to the popular Ultimate Ninja Storm series is now available on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch, and PC.
Over 130 Playable Characters Including New Faces
One of the biggest draws of this new game is its massive roster containing over 130 playable characters from across the Naruto and Boruto franchises. Fans can battle as iconic ninjas like Naruto, Sasuke, Sakura, Kakashi, and more. Exciting new characters have also been added such as Ashura and Indra Otsutsuki, Boruto (Karma), Kawaki, and the main antagonist Jigen.

Visuals and Gameplay Designed to Emulate the Anime
CyberConnect2 developed Ultimate Ninja Storm Connections with a visual style intended to resemble the look of the popular anime series. Combat and jutsu abilities are also designed to be flashy and over-the-top just like the show. Dynamic battle sequences can run at up to 60fps providing smooth combat on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC.
New Simple Controls for Powerful Combos
To help make the game more accessible for new players, Bandai Namco has introduced a new “Simple Control” mode. This allows players to activate explosive jutsu and combo attacks with the single press of a button. Veterans can still utilize the classic complex controls for more finessed gameplay.
Original Story Mode and Nostalgic Extras
Naruto x Boruto Ultimate Ninja Storm Connections features an original story mode focused on the connection between Naruto and Sasuke. There is also a unique new story that centers around Boruto and the Fifth Great Ninja War. For fans feeling nostalgic, the optional “Nostalgic Anime Song & Item Pack” provides 5 iconic songs from the anime and 3 in-game items.
Multiple Editions Available with Exclusive Bonuses
Gamers can choose from the Standard, Deluxe, Ultimate, Collector’s, and Premium Collector’s Editions of Ultimate Ninja Storm Connections, each of which comes with different additional content. The Collector’s Edition for example includes an exclusive 20cm Naruto & Sasuke figure.
