Purple Lightning Strikes in TEKKEN 8 as Reina Joins the Roster

The supercharged roster of fighters in Bandai Namco’s upcoming TEKKEN 8 just got a big jolt of electricity with the reveal of the lightning-quick martial artist Reina. This new challenger’s addition brings the starting lineup to 32 brawlers when Tekken 8 launches on January 26, 2024.

Nicknamed “Purple Lightning,” Reina is known for her blindingly fast strikes and shocking mobility. As a student at the prestigious Mishima Polytechnical School, she has honed her skills and now seeks to test herself against the best in the King of Iron Fist Tournament.

Reina cannot wait to face-off against Jin Kazama, who currently stands as the toughest fighter around. Their clash could spark some intense in-game fireworks when TEKKEN 8 arrives on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC.

To bring Reina and the rest of the adrenaline-filled cast to life, TEKKEN 8 utilizes Unreal Engine 5 for next-level visuals and effects. Dynamic destructible environments add to the hard-hitting spectacle as the stages become active parts of the combat.
