Naughty Dog has announced that The Last of Us Part II will be getting a remastered version for PlayStation 5. Titled The Last of Us Part II Remastered, it is set to launch on January 19th, 2024 as a PS5 console exclusive.
The game will feature improved graphics and performance, making full use of the PS5’s powerful hardware. This includes higher resolution textures, improved lighting, faster loading times, haptic feedback through the DualSense controller, and more.
Revisit Ellie and Abby’s Emotional Journeys
The Last of Us Part II Remastered allows both new and returning players to experience the emotional journeys of Ellie and Abby in the post-pandemic world. The story picks up years after The Last of Us, following Ellie as she embarks on a quest for retribution. Players also get to see things from Abby’s perspective as she copes with grief and trauma.
