Eiyuden Chronicle: Hundred Heroes Storyline
The central game characters get caught in growing unrest as military aggression upsets the balance of power across the continent of Allraan. Typical JRPG ingredients like ancient legends and magical phenomena meet this conflict. With Murayama himself directing the scenario, expect a sweeping storyline underpinned by intimate character-driven moments that compel you through this fantasy world.
Strategic Six-Character Battles
Turn-based battles allow parties of up to six characters, with agile spell-casting, archery attacks, weapon skills, and swappable fighters promising intricate play. We see casters flinging area-of-effect spells, bow users occupying high ground for range advantages, and our heroes using crates and debris as makeshift attacks. With Suikoden’s combat director Junko Kawano at the helm, expect systems with serious depth.

Recruit Over 100 Adventurers
In the spirit of the 108 Stars of Destiny concept from Suikoden, Eiyuden lets you gradually recruit over 100 unique adventurers. Each ally contributes to combat and progression systems. Base building also returns, as you expand and customize your headquarters by recruiting specialized NPCs to open valuable facilities.

The Japanese voice cast contains famous anime talents like Nao Toyama, Yui Ishikawa, and Daisuke Ono. On the Western side, we have the likes of Laura Bailey, Cherami Leigh, and Troy Baker lending their iconic voices. Full voice acting should significantly boost immersion across over 100 major campaign characters and promises to deliver those poignant moments JRPGs are known for.
