The dark fantasy FPS title Graven has officially launched its 1.0 version on PC after a year spent in Early Access refinement. Co-published by 3D Realms and Fulqrum Publishing, Graven comes from developer Slipgate Ironworks and offers PC gamers a rich world blending classic FPS action with RPG exploration.
Exiled Priest Seeks Vengeance in Atmospheric World
In Graven, players assume the role of an exiled Priest of the Orthogonal Order, on a quest for vengeance after his daughter was sacrificed by a former colleague.
The journey takes place across atmospheric zones filled with dark fantasy elements and occult rituals.
Combat, Exploration and Secrets
Gameplay in Graven revolves around first-person combat, exploration of the open-ended areas, and puzzle solving.
Players will battle corrupted enemies and towering bosses while building up an arsenal of weapons and deadly spells. Side quests, weapon experimentation, and secret hunting also feature.
Major Additions Over Early Access
The full 1.0 version introduces two entirely new zones to push the world beyond the early access content. These spaces add expanded depth through new quests, characters and secrets.
The development team at Slipgate Ironworks also focused on polish, visual improvements, additional languages and online co-op support for up to 8 players.
