Tartarus Gets a Fresh Coat of Paint
The enigmatic Tartarus dungeon now features visual improvements and tweaks to exploration. S.E.E.S. can now scout ahead after battles to uncover items, and rescuing lost individuals can provide useful rewards.
Breakable objects may contain recovery items, sellable materials, or Dusk Shards to open locked treasure chests hiding great rewards. And secret Monad Doors lead to rare cards and chests. But beware the ominous Reaper, who appears if players linger too long.
Revamped Combat and Shuffle Time
Combat has been updated as well, with costume changes available for S.E.E.S. members. And after battles, the tense Shuffle Time gives players cards to earn personas and effects for the day.
Building Social Links with characters like President Tanaka and Akinari Kamiki can power up personas. And special Major Arcana cards trigger powerful bonuses like Arcana Burst.
An RPG Classic Reborn
With a fresh coat of paint and new improvements, Persona 3 Reload aims to reintroduce players to the acclaimed dungeon crawling and relationship building that made the original a classic. The remake launches next year, giving fans plenty of time to prepare for another mysterious year at Gekkoukan High School.
