Two lead characters anchor the narrative: stoic puppet master Tsunanori Mido and upbeat student-witch Ameya Aisling. Their companions include Willma the prophetess, Gourmand the treasure hunter, Lita the knight, and more. SaGa: Emerald Beyond Gameplay and Features
Famed SaGa director Akitoshi Kawazu incorporates classic series elements like free-flowing turn-based battles and open-ended skill progression. Manipulating turn orders for strategic advantage will be key against the imaginative monsters populating each realm.
As characters act randomly in battle, players must adapt tactics accordingly for victory. Learning abilities also relies on chance, not set leveling.
